What to expect
At The Nest, you are guaranteed to step into a nurturing, nature-led environment. During a typical day you will work with our animals and explore plots in our gardens and woodlands. You will also take part in our structured sessions which blend practical tasks with guided reflection, helping you develop confidence, resilience, and an understanding of your own mental well-being.
Every activity is designed to gently build emotional resilience—whether learning to tend plants, care for animals, or cook a nourishing meal. These experiences, combined with the rhythms of farm life, create a calm, grounding space for self-discovery.
We are committed to inclusivity and always work to ensure everyone feels safe, understood, and supported. You’ll feel part of a caring community supported by our mental health professionals and your peers. Activities are tailored to your age and needs, and families, carers, and support networks are welcomed to join our community through participation in workshops and shared events.
But don’t just take our word for it – read what our young people say about their day-to-day life at the Nest. (Suggest we get a few write ups from those about to finish their term)
