July - End of Term

July - End of Term

As Another Academic Year Comes to an End...

As another academic year draws to a close, it's a time to reflect on everything we've shared together. We've welcomed many new faces, enjoyed seeing familiar ones return, and now wish many of our young people all the very best as they begin their next chapter.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the year, and to those who continue to stand by us year after year. Your encouragement, kindness and belief in what we do make such a difference.

Looking After Yourself This Summer

We know that the six-week summer break can bring mixed emotions. For some, it offers a chance to relax, while for others it can bring uncertainty, anxiety and the challenge of adjusting to an unstructured routine.

If you or someone you know needs extra support over the summer, please visit the Resources page on our website, where you'll find a range of organisations and services that can help.

We hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable and restful summer. Take this opportunity to slow down, spend time with the people who matter most, and make space for the activities that bring you joy.

Team News

This summer also brings some changes to our team as we say a fond farewell to Stephen and Phoebe, who are both embarking on an incredible new adventure in Zambia, where they will be supporting local communities.

Stephen has been with us since the very beginning alongside our founder, Hannah. His dedication, knowledge and passion for supporting young people have helped shape our organisation into what it is today. Without his unwavering commitment, this place simply wouldn't be the same. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has given to our team and to the countless young people whose lives he has touched.

Phoebe joined us a little later but has quickly become a wonderful role model for our younger members. Through her kindness, courage and natural leadership, she has inspired so many young people and made a lasting impact. We know she will continue to make a real difference wherever she goes.

Stephen and Phoebe will both be greatly missed, but we couldn't be prouder of them. We wish them every success on this exciting new journey and know they will continue changing lives wherever they are.

From all of us, thank you for being part of our community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back after the summer, refreshed and ready for another fantastic year together.
