It’s been a busy and inspiring month for us!
We were delighted to attend the Suffolk Community Foundation Annual Review, where we connected with so many incredible charities across the region. A special highlight was seeing the High Sheriff Awards presented to some truly deserving organisations: Future Female Society, Waveney Surf Lifesaving Centre, P.H.O.E.B.E, and The Forge Community Church in Debenham for its Moses Project.
We also heard a powerful keynote from Sir Nick Young, reminding us just how vital volunteers are in making positive change happen.
This month, three of our London Landmarks Half Marathon runners hosted an amazing fitness fundraising event—raising over £2,000! The energy was incredible, with people of all ages keeping the gym equipment going non-stop for three hours. We’re already looking forward to the next one…
A huge thank you to the Kemball Family Fund for awarding us a grant to support placements here at The Nest. This funding, made possible through the Suffolk Community Foundation, helps us continue our mission of changing young lives.
🌱 And finally, our outdoor growing beds are coming along beautifully! Our young people have been hard at work building and painting them—ready for planting to begin very soon.
We rounded off the month with our Board of Trustees meeting. We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing guidance and support—having a board that is engaged, hands-on, and always available makes all the difference to our success.
Thank you for being part of our journey
